About me
Before becoming a funeral arranger, I spent over ten years working in oil and gas recruitment, followed by a couple of years in traffic management. Both roles taught me how to stay organised, bring the right people together and find practical solutions under pressure.
At home, I'm a dad to a four-year-old son and we've recently welcomed a baby daughter into our family, along with Lavender, our tabby cat. In my free time I love cooking, going to the gym and getting out and about with my family.
Why I became a funeral arranger
I lost someone close to me, and going through the funeral arrangements myself showed me how much the right support matters at such a difficult time. That experience made me want to learn more and use what I'd been through to help other families.
What I enjoy and what I bring
I enjoy using technology to keep every part of the process running smoothly, while never forgetting that I'm working with real people who need someone they can depend on.
My years in recruitment taught me to be organised, to connect the right people with one another, and to offer solutions that fit each person's needs. I bring that same reliability to every family I work with.
My approach
The first thing I do is get to know each family and listen carefully to what they need, because understanding them is the key to giving the best possible service. After every conversation, I send a follow-up email summarising what we discussed and the next steps, so nothing is missed and you always know where things stand.
My advice for families
Fenix has a team of caring arrangers who are here to help you every step of the way. If you can, gather as much information as possible before your meetings. It makes the process smoother and helps us create a farewell that truly reflects your loved one.
