Before becoming an arranger
I have a background in project coordination, communications and stakeholder management, having worked on international projects involving government institutions, NGOs and other organisations. Outside work, I’m interested in philosophy, history and politics. I studied political science at Lancaster University, and I enjoy learning about people, their experiences and different perspectives.
What was your motivation for becoming a Funeral Advisor?
My motivation was to take on a role where I could combine my experience in coordination and communication with work that has a meaningful impact on people’s lives. I am also attracted to Fenix’s approach, which combines personal support with a structured, transparent and digitalised framework.
What do you enjoy most about working for Fenix?
What I enjoy most is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to families during a difficult time. I value the responsibility of guiding each family through the arrangements, from the first conversation to the final follow-up, ensuring they feel supported at every stage.
What experience is most important for your role at Fenix?
My experience in project coordination and communication is most relevant to the role, as I have worked with different stakeholders, managed competing priorities and deadlines, and ensured that important details were not overlooked.
What is your approach to funerals and how they are arranged?
My approach is to make the process as clear, respectful and manageable as possible for the family. My aim is to make sure that the arrangements reflect the family’s wishes and that they feel supported throughout the process.
Do you have any advice for families when it comes to arranging a funeral?
My advice would be to take things one step at a time and not feel pressured to make every decision immediately.
