Park Wood Crematorium
Park Wood Crematorium, nestled on a picturesque hillside in Elland, offers serene and scenic views of the surrounding area. The main chapel, with a seating capacity for 88 people and standing room at the back, provides a spacious setting for services. For larger gatherings, TVs in the foyer enable guests to participate in the service.
The Snowdrop Chapel offers a smaller, more intimate space designed for families and friends to remember infants. The crematorium provides various amenities, including a waiting room for hot and cold drinks, web broadcasts, and recording options (DVD/USB/CD). A hearing loop is available in the service chapel, and there's parking space for up to 60 cars on the right side of the building.
Park Wood Crematorium also offers accessible facilities such as ramps, toilets, and designated parking spaces for disabled visitors. The facility provides three service options: the Direct service with no attendees, a Simple service for 20 attendees, and a Full service with no attendee restrictions, including the option to extend the service at an additional cost.

From Elland, begin by heading south on Laurel Cl towards Victoria Rd. After a short distance, continue your journey along B6114 and Park Rd/A6025. Turn left onto Victoria Rd, which will lead you onto Southgate. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Elland Riorges Link/B6114. Continue on Huddersfield Rd and onto Briggate/B6114, then make a right turn onto Elland Bridge/B6114. Afterward, turn right onto Park Rd/A6025, and your destination, Park Wood Crematorium, located at Park Rd, Elland HX5 9HZ, United Kingdom, will be on your left.
From Halifax, from Gaol Lane, head towards Smithy St for about 0.1 miles. Then, continue your journey by driving along Huddersfield Rd, A629, Stainland Rd, B6114, and Park Rd/A6025 to Elland, which will take approximately 13 minutes and cover approximately 4.0 miles. Upon reaching Elland, you'll turn left to arrive at your destination, Park Wood Crematorium.
