Woking Crematorium

Woking Crematorium

Woking Crematorium is a historic privately-owned crematorium in St John's village, UK. The chapel seats 80 people and has accessibility features, including ramps, a hearing loop, disabled toilets, and Braille service books. The 10-acre grounds have a lake and memorial gardens named after famous poets, with ornamental shrubs, rose gardens, benches, and other dedicated ornaments.

Memorials include gilt-lettered leather plaque panels, commemorative posy vases, and entries in the Book of Remembrance. The crematorium hosts an annual service of remembrance in July that is open to everyone. It was the first purpose-built crematorium in the countryside, established in 1878 by the royal physician to Queen Victoria, among others.

Please remember: you need to book an appointment at the Woking Crematorium in order to discuss your plans. We’d be happy to help you do this, so feel free to get in touch with one of our personal advisers.
