Bradwell Crematorium
Opened in 1965, Bradwell Crematorium, also known as Newcastle Crematorium, offers solace within its 12 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and grounds. This serene setting welcomes the public every day of the year, providing a place of reflection and remembrance.
The Book of Remembrance Chapel, accessible daily, allows visitors to pay their respects. Operating from 9 am to 4:30 pm on weekdays and 10 am to 4 pm during weekends and bank holidays, the chapel is a peaceful retreat.
The Crematorium Office, open from 8:30 am to 4 pm on weekdays (excluding bank and public holidays), assists with inquiries and arrangements. While the main gates close each evening, the grounds remain accessible on foot.
In winter (October – March), the gates open from 9 am to 4:30 pm, extending to 9 am to 7 pm during the summer months (April – September). Bradwell Crematorium stands as a timeless sanctuary for those seeking tranquillity and solace.

- Start by heading northwest on A500 toward Leek Rd.
- Merge onto A53.
- At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Leek Rd.
- Continue to follow A53.
- Turn left onto Ford Ln/A52.
- Continue on A52.
