The chapel boasts a high ceiling and an entire glass wall that overlooks serene natural pools and gardens. With seating for 150 people and ample standing room, it can accommodate both intimate and larger gatherings. There is parking for 45 cars.
Recognised for its outstanding design, Telford Crematorium was shortlisted for the prestigious National R.I.B.A Sterling Prize Award in 2000 and received the West Midlands Category award. It was also honoured with the regional Master Builder of the Year Award in 2000 and the regional Civic Trust Award in 2001. The chapel is surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds featuring a charming pond teeming with birds and meandering walkways lined with old trees and memorial avenues. The crematorium is accessible to disabled guests, with wheelchair access and disabled toilets available throughout.
