Wilford Hill Crematorium
Wilford Hill Crematorium, situated on the serene grounds of Southern Cemetery south of Nottingham, provides a peaceful setting for bidding farewell to loved ones. Surrounded by cemetery grounds and farmland, it offers a tranquil atmosphere for mourning and reflection.
The crematorium welcomes funeral services of all faiths, denominations, and non-religious or humanist ceremonies. The Main Chapel can accommodate 80 seated attendees, while the West Chapel can seat 60, with additional standing room available.
Services have a duration of 60 minutes and take place from Monday to Friday, with Saturday services possible upon appointment and at an additional cost. The Obitus Music System is available, offering a vast selection of songs, and alternative music players can be accommodated if required. The crematorium provides video and audio recording options, as well as live webcasting for those unable to attend in person. On-site memorials, such as inscribed stones, plaques, and memorial rose bushes, are available.
Ample on-site parking, including disabled spaces, and accessible toilet facilities are provided for visitors' convenience.
