Mansfield and District Crematorium

Mansfield and District Crematorium

Mansfield Crematorium, situated on the outskirts of Mansfield, provides families with a tranquil setting to arrange funeral services for their loved ones. Recognising the challenges of such times, the crematorium offers a range of options and professional advice to help make informed decisions.

The crematorium features two chapels – Newstead Chapel, seating 60 mourners, and Thoresby Chapel, seating 150 mourners. Both chapels offer flexibility for religious or non-religious services, and for larger funerals, services can be broadcasted to covered outside areas.

Mansfield Crematorium provides comprehensive facilities, including disabled access, baby changing facilities, toilets (including disabled toilets), and ample parking for 120 vehicles. The Floral Hall and the Book of Remembrance add to the dignified environment.

Families are encouraged to personalise funeral services, utilising an extensive music system, bespoke Copeman Hart organs, soloists, and visual elements. Dove or balloon releases are symbolic, although Chinese lanterns are restricted due to potential risks.

Amidst its serene surroundings, Mansfield Crematorium stands as a place where families can bid farewell to their loved ones with dignity and compassion, making the difficult journey of saying goodbye a little more manageable.

Please remember: you need to book an appointment at the Mansfield and District Crematorium in order to discuss your plans. We’d be happy to help you do this, so feel free to get in touch with one of our personal advisers.
