Stockton-on-Tees Crematorium, situated off Junction Road in Norton, Stockton-on-Tees, is a modern and purpose-built facility designed for serene farewells. Established in 2019, this state-of-the-art single-storey building is surrounded by meticulously landscaped gardens of remembrance. The tranquil setting includes features such as a memorial garden, gardens of remembrance, a memorial wall, a book of remembrance, and areas dedicated to infant memorials.
The facility boasts two distinct chapels—the Bluebell Chapel, a smaller, more intimate space accommodating 50 people, and the Maplewood Chapel, a larger venue with seating for up to 120 individuals. The Bluebell Chapel exudes peace and tranquillity, providing a serene environment for funeral services. Meanwhile, the Maplewood Chapel emphasises light and space, furnished to the highest standards with bespoke wooden benches and catafalque. The contrasting crematorium furniture in this chapel contributes to a peaceful and calming atmosphere, making Stockton-on-Tees Crematorium a thoughtful and respectful place for memorial services.

- From Norton: Start by heading south on A1085 until you reach the A64. Turn left onto the A64 and follow it for about 12 miles until you see the signs for the A19. Take the A19 north for about 5 miles and then exit onto the A174. Follow the A174 for about 3 miles and then turn right onto the B1365. The crematorium will be on your left after about a mile.
- From Stockton-on-Tees: Take the A66 east towards Middlesbrough. Take the A174 north towards Darlington. Take the A19 north towards Sunderland. Take the A1085 west towards Norton. Turn left onto Bishopton Road and then right onto Junction Road. The crematorium will be on your left.
