Saltwell Crematorium
Located within the Saltwell Conservation Area next to Saltwell Park, Saltwell Crematorium is a serene space surrounded by extensive grounds. The chapel, designed in a simple and dignified style, welcomes funeral services of all denominations. The cross on the wall can be covered upon request, ensuring inclusivity.
Service times, not publicly disclosed due to potential changes, can be obtained by contacting Bereavement Services. The Book of Remembrance, both in physical and digital formats, serves as an everlasting memorial, accessible at any time. The landscaped Garden of Remembrance, with commemorative plaques along walks and borders, offers a private space for reflection.
Floral tributes grace the crematorium for three nights, with recycling/disposal thereafter, unless otherwise instructed. Ample car parking, including overflow options and convenient public toilets, contribute to visitor comfort. Saltwell Crematorium stands as a compassionate space, encouraging thoughtful remembrance in privacy.
