Blyth Crematorium
Blyth Crematorium in Northumberland offers local families the opportunity for a personalised funeral service and cremation for their loved ones. The crematorium supports various services, whether held at the chapel or another place of worship, before or after cremation.
Funeral services occur every 45 minutes, Monday to Friday, between 9:15 am and 3:15 pm, with the flexibility to extend the ceremony for an additional fee. The peaceful garden of remembrance, adorned with flowers, trees, and shrubs, provides a serene setting for scattering ashes or creating lasting memorials in cremated remains or family grave plots. Bronze memorial plaques honour cherished memories.
The Book of Remembrance room, open every day, offers a tranquil space for families to remember their loved ones privately. Dedicating an entry in the book provides a lasting and personal memorial. Memorial cards and miniature books of remembrance are thoughtful tributes available to families.
Disabled and wheelchair access, on-site toilets, and various memorial options are provided by Northumberland County Council. The compassionate team at Blyth Crematorium is available to address inquiries about memorial choices through your funeral director.
Please remember: you need to book an appointment at the Blyth Crematorium in order to discuss your plans. We’d be happy to help you do this, so feel free to get in touch with one of our personal advisers.
