Landican Crematorium
Landican Cemetery and Crematorium, located in Wirral, is dedicated to serving the local community seeking cremation funeral services for their beloved departed. Operating on weekdays from 9 am to 3.30 pm, the crematorium offers flexibility in funeral arrangements. Services at the chapel typically last around 20 minutes, with options for extended services at an additional cost. Families have the choice of conducting part of the service in an alternate place of worship before a brief committal at the crematorium or can opt for no service.
Cremated remains are held for two working days post-cremation and can be collected from the Office before 10 am. For those preferring scattering, designated areas in the Garden of Remembrance or family graves are available, and ceremonies can be scheduled Monday to Thursday at specified times. Alternatively, families can choose to bury cremated remains by purchasing a grave at Landican Cemetery.
For an enduring tribute, the Book of Remembrance in the Remembrance Room at Landican Cemetery allows families to include heartfelt entries. Copies of these entries can be obtained as booklets or remembrance cards. The cemetery also provides toilet facilities for the convenience of visitors at the entrance and crematorium chapel.
