Widnes Crematorium
Since 1959, Widnes Crematorium has been a pillar of support for bereaved families in Cheshire. The crematorium, accommodating 70 seated guests with additional standing space, provides a dignified setting for cremation funeral services, honouring the lives of loved ones. Service durations are typically 30 minutes, extendable with an additional fee. Cremations are conducted Monday to Thursday from 9 am to 3.30 pm and on Fridays from 9 am to 2 pm, with an option for Saturday services at an extra charge.
Following a recent refurbishment, the crematorium offers a contemporary music system featuring a diverse selection and webcasting services, enhancing the personalisation of funeral services. Post-cremation, the ashes can be interred within the cemetery, placed in an above-ground sanctum vault, or scattered in the tranquil memorial gardens.
