Chester Crematorium
Chester Crematorium, situated within the Blacon cemetery grounds, provides its services to the local community of Chester. The crematorium building is equipped with modern facilities, including digital technology that allows the recording of funeral services and the display of accompanying photos. The welcoming chapel can accommodate large groups of mourners, with additional standing space available outside.
Families have the option to honour their loved ones through entries in the Book of Remembrance or by securing a grave plot in the memorial garden at Chester Crematorium. Access to the Book of Remembrance is also available online for convenience. The chapel building houses toilet facilities, and ample parking space is provided for visitors. The crematorium office operates on weekdays from 9 am to 4 pm.
The grounds of Chester Crematorium are accessible from 8 am to 7 pm between April and September, and from 8 am to 5 pm from October to March. The book of remembrance room follows the same schedule, allowing visitors to pay their respects and reflect during the specified opening hours.
