Cardross Crematorium
Cardross Crematorium is positioned in a tranquil rural setting, offering captivating views of the River Clyde and the Cowal peninsula. Situated 1 mile west of the village of Cardross on the A814, it falls within the Lomond area of Argyll and Bute Council.
The crematorium's service room, filled with natural light, can comfortably accommodate 137 individuals, with an additional 24 in the gallery. To enhance memorial services, the crematorium employs a qualified organist who received training at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Additionally, a CD and tape system is available for those who wish to include specific musical selections.
The Book of Remembrance at Cardross Crematorium is open daily from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. The book room houses hand-bound leather-covered books with pages made from the finest calf vellum. Crafted inscriptions create a permanent artistic record, and the book is displayed daily on the page, showing the current date.
