Tunbridge Wells (Kent & Sussex) Crematorium
Kent and Sussex Crematorium, located in Royal Tunbridge Wells, has been serving the local communities since the 1950s. The crematorium, surrounded by serene gardens of remembrance, has undergone expansions and improvements over the years since its first cremation in 1958.
The facility features a multi-faith chapel that can accommodate up to 90 individuals, with an additional standing space for 30 people. Attached to the chapel is an open-air flower court. Service times typically last for 45 minutes, except for the first and last two services of each day, which are 30 minutes in duration. The crematorium offers webcasting services for those unable to attend in person, along with options for audio and visual recordings.
Music can be played through a digital system or performed on the chapel's organ. Visual tributes can also be displayed during the service. Kent and Sussex Crematorium provides various memorial options within its gardens of remembrance.
The crematorium operates from 9 am to 4 pm from Monday to Thursday, and from 9 am to 3:30 pm on Fridays. The grounds are open 24 hours a day.
