Thanet Crematorium

Thanet Crematorium

Thanet Crematorium, situated on Manston Road since 1966, provides a range of options for memorialising loved ones. It boasts several gardens of rest, a woodland burial ground, a rose garden, and the opportunity to adopt mature trees. The crematorium features a chapel with seating for approximately 80 people, along with standing space.

The chapel is equipped with a specialised music system provided by Wesley Media, and funeral directors can accommodate music requests. For those unable to attend, a secure webcam service enables remote viewing of the service from anywhere in the world. The crematorium office operates on weekdays from 9 am to 4:30 pm, while the grounds and Remembrance Chapel are open daily from 9 am to 6 pm (March to September) and 9 am to 5 pm (October to February), closing at 4 pm on weekends and bank holidays. Various service times are available, ranging from shorter slots to longer intervals, accommodating both religious and non-religious services as per the family's preferences.

Please remember: you need to book an appointment at the Thanet Crematorium in order to discuss your plans. We’d be happy to help you do this, so feel free to get in touch with one of our personal advisers.
