Woollensbrook Crematorium, located on Hertford Road in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, serves the communities of Hertfordshire and Essex, offering a tranquil and peaceful environment for funeral services.
With a focus on providing ample time and space for each service, the crematorium schedules just 4 to 5 funerals per day. By allowing a generous 60 minutes between each service, families have the opportunity to create a personalised and dignified event. This time frame allows for half an hour inside the chapel, providing ample time for reflection and farewells while also allowing for a relaxed entry and exit.
If desired, additional time can be arranged to accommodate specific needs. The floral tribute area is thoughtfully situated away from the chapel, providing a serene space for gathering with friends and family amidst the scenic views of the surrounding woodland.

From the North:
- Begin by heading south on the A10 and take the exit at the Hoddesdon Junction - A1170.
- At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Dinant Link Rd.
- Continue to the next roundabout and again take the first exit onto Amwell St/A1170.
- As you drive, you'll notice 'The Sun' public house on your left.
- At the following roundabout, take the first exit onto the Hertford Rd/B1197.
- Proceed up the slight hill for approximately half a mile. Once you pass under the bridge, the crematorium will be immediately on your left.
From the South:
- Leave the M25 at junction A10 and head north for approximately 5 miles.
- Take the exit at the Hoddesdon Junction - A1170.
- At the roundabout, this time, take the second exit onto Dinant Link Rd.
- Continue to the next roundabout and take the first exit onto Amwell St/A1170.
- You'll pass 'The Sun' public house on your left.
- At the roundabout ahead, take the first exit onto the Hertford Rd/B1197.
- Drive up the slight hill for about half a mile. After passing under the bridge, the crematorium will be on your immediate left.
