Cambridge City Crematorium
The Cambridge Crematorium provides a serene backdrop for both faith-based and secular funerals. With two thoughtfully designed chapels, a spacious garden area for personalised memorials, and tranquil gardens and woodlands for ash scattering, it offers a peaceful setting to honour loved ones.
Adjacent to Huntingdon Road Cemetery, the facility's gardens are accessible at all hours,
providing a contemplative atmosphere.
Operating from 10 am to 3 pm, Monday to Friday, the office offers support, and the extensive car park accommodates over 100 vehicles for attendees. The chapels, equipped with organs and music systems, cater to diverse preferences, allowing the choice of live or recorded music.
The East Chapel, with wheelchair-friendly access, seats around 55, while the larger West Chapel accommodates approximately 190, including a balcony area. Both chapels feature induction loop systems, waiting rooms with vending machines, and the option for audio or video recording, including live online streaming.
