Gloucester Crematorium boasts top-notch facilities, recently earning full marks during a comprehensive inspection. The chapel, accommodating up to 120 people, is well-equipped with a hearing aid loop and accessible disabled toilets, ensuring a comfortable environment for all attendees.
For post-service gatherings, The Arbor of Gloucester Crematorium offers two hospitality rooms. The Mulberry Wake Room caters to groups of up to 80 people, featuring a multimedia system and a fully licensed bar stocked with a variety of beverages. The Willows Tea Room, ideal for more intimate gatherings of up to 40 people, provides a bright and airy setting serving tea, coffee, sandwiches, soup, and handmade cakes.
Memorial options at the crematorium range from 20-year leases of plaques and benches to lifetime purchases of path blocks, offering a range of choices to commemorate loved ones.
The Arbor Rooms are open from 10 am to 4 pm on weekdays. The crematorium grounds, including the Gardens of Memory and Woodland Burial Grounds, are accessible from 8 am to 6 pm in the summer and 8 am to 5 pm in winter, with 24-hour access available through two small kissing gates outside regular hours.
