Wessex Vale Crematorium
Wessex Vale Crematorium, established in 2009, serves the Eastleigh community near Southampton. The multi-faith chapel, decorated with flowers, can seat 96 people and has standing space for another 100 mourners. Funeral services are available every 45 minutes, and longer services can be booked for an additional fee. The state-of-the-art media centre provides live webcasts, online virtual tours, and an extensive music library. The chapel's Wesley System digital music system has a wide variety of music choices that can be requested.
The floral tribute area is a quiet spot to gather with family and friends after the service, and floral tributes remain on display for at least three nights. An extensive range of traditional, contemporary, and living memorials can be installed on the crematorium grounds. There are around 75 allocated parking spaces, and the garden of remembrance is open throughout the year.
