Altrincham Crematorium
Altrincham Crematorium, located in the Greater Manchester area, was built in 1959 and serves the people of Trafford Metropolitan Borough. The facility is easily accessible by car or public transport and is surrounded by lush farmland. The chapel, which can accommodate 110 guests and has overflow space for larger funerals, is multi-denominational and can host funerals for loved ones of any religion. The music system includes an electronic organ and a computerised music system. The chapel is wheelchair accessible, and a loan wheelchair is available upon request.
Funeral services can be tailored to your specific requirements, and the music system is provided by Wesley Music, who can usually source any published music you may require. There are two car parks with designated disabled parking spaces. The service can also be relayed to a screen in the entrance hall if there are large numbers of mourners present.

To reach the Altrincham Crematorium from the A56 at Broadheath and Bowdon near junction 7 on the M56, follow the signs provided. If you're coming from Altrincham train/tram interchange, which is approximately 3 miles away, take the bus route No 247, which runs every half hour. The journey takes about 20 minutes to the junction of Sinderland Lane and Whitehouse Lane. Make sure to ask the driver to notify you when you reach the stop on Sinderland Lane.
From the bus stop, it's only a 300 metres walk to the crematorium. If you're driving, the facility is signed from the A56 at Broadheath and Bowdon near junction 7 on the M56. Once you arrive, there are two car parks available with designated disabled parking spaces in both the car park and near the chapel.
