Located in a preserved countryside setting, the crematorium exudes an aura of peace and serenity, with its spacious chapel crafted from natural brick and honey-colored timber.

In addition to offering a peaceful final resting place, Howe Bridge Crematorium provides a range of cremation memorials to honor and cherish your loved ones. From living memorials and benches to bird baths, mini graves, above-ground vaults, garden memorials, cremation tablets, vases, natural stones, communal memorials, and memorial plaques, you can choose a truly personal and meaningful way to remember those you hold dear.

Directions

From Stockport, start by heading east on High St toward Lower Hillgate. Turn right onto Lower Hillgate, then take a left at the 1st cross street onto Wellington St. Afterward, make a right onto Churchgate and continue onto Spring Gardens. Turn left onto St. Marys Way/A6188/A626. At the Portwood Roundabout, take the second exit onto the M60W ramp.

Follow the signs to merge onto the M60, keeping right at the fork to stay on M60. At junction 15, take the M61 exit toward Preston, Wigan, and Bolton. Continue onto A666(M)/M61 and keep left at the fork to continue on M61, following signs for Preston. At junction 5, take the A58 exit to Wigan, Bolton, and Westhoughton.

Continue along A58 until you reach your destination in Atherton. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Snydle Wy/A58. At the following roundabout, take the third exit onto Park Rd/A58. Turn left onto Platt Lane, and continue onto North Rd. At the next roundabout, take the second exit onto Gibfield Park Ave, then at the next roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Gibfield Park Way. At Talbot Roundabout, take the third exit onto Atherleigh Way/A579. Turn right onto Lovers' Lane/B5235, then make a left and a right, and your destination, Howe Bridge Crematorium will be on the right at approximately 335 ft.
