Burnley Crematorium, located at Accrington Rd, welcomes visitors to its grounds throughout the year, providing a peaceful setting for remembrance. The crematorium grounds are open on weekdays (except bank holidays) from 9 am to 4:45 pm, Saturdays from 9 am to 4:45 pm, Sundays from 10:30 am to 4:45 pm, and bank holidays from 10:30 am to 4:45 pm.
Opened in 1958, this tranquil location serves numerous local communities and is conveniently located near Rose Grove railway station. The chapel seats 180 guests.
The facility offers car parking by the main gate, wheelchair access to the chapel and Remembrance room, and accessible toilets while the grounds are open.
Burnley Cemetery, established in 1856, can be found at Cemetery Lane, off Rossendale Road. Limited car parking is available on the main entrance road, and there are adjacent toilets, including a radar disabled toilet, near the chapel.
