Blackley Crematorium
Blackley Crematorium in Manchester was opened in 1965 to serve the local community. It has modern facilities, including a newly refurbished Centre Chapel with stained glass windows that can hold up to 300 people, as well as two smaller chapels which each seat up to 60 people.
Families can choose from a library of music or play their own to personalise the service. All chapels are equipped with a sound system and loop induction system. The memorial garden is surrounded by neat rows of plants and provides a peaceful space for reflection. Parking is available next to the crematorium, and toilets can be found at the cemetery office across from the crematorium.
