Preston Crematorium
Preston Crematorium, situated in the northeastern part of Lancashire, has been serving the community since its establishment in 1962. This self-contained site is surrounded by meticulously maintained lawns and woodlands, offering a serene setting near the River Ribble.
The crematorium is inclusive and welcomes people of all faiths and backgrounds. Inside the chapel, you'll find a modest interior with pew seating, and there's also an organ available for hymns or music during the service. Convenient onsite parking is provided for visitors.
The Memorial Gardens surrounding Preston Crematorium offer a peaceful location for scattering the ashes of your loved ones. If you wish to commemorate this moment, various options are available. You can make an entry in the Book of Remembrance, accessible every day except Christmas and online anytime.
Other choices include sanctum vaults, memorial garden vase blocks with plaques, or granite mushroom plaques at the entrance to the woodland scattering area. Memorial benches, wall tablets, and vases are also available to pay tribute in the Memorial Gardens.
