North East Surrey Crematorium

North East Surrey Crematorium in Morden, Surrey offers funeral services to people of all faiths and religions. The crematorium has two chapels that can accommodate up to 80 people and an additional 40 standing mourners. The funeral services can be broadcast to those outside of the chapel via a PA system, webcast, or recorded on DVD. The facility is equipped with toilets, a hearing loop, and a wheelchair. The garden of remembrance can be accessed through a cloistered passage, and a wide range of memorials, such as rose bushes and memorial seats, can be installed. The book of remembrance is displayed in a dedicated building in the garden of remembrance. The crematorium gates open from 8 am to 4 pm during November to February, 7 pm in May to August, 5 pm in March and October, and 6 pm in April and September.

Directions

North East Surrey Crematorium in Morden, Surrey is conveniently accessible by various modes of transport. For those travelling by mainline rail and bus, Raynes Park Station is the closest stop, which is served by trains from Waterloo to Chessington, Hampton Court, Epsom and Kingston. Across the road from the station is a 163 bus stop, which is a short ride to the Beverley Roundabout close to the crematorium.

If travelling by underground and bus, the nearest tube station is at Morden on the Northern Line. The 163 bus stop is on the opposite side of the road from the station, and the bus stop at the end of Hillcross Avenue is close to the crematorium. Buses that pass near the crematorium include the 163, 413, and 293.

For those travelling by car, from the A3 Kingston bypass, take the A298, Bushey Road. Turn right into Grand Drive, and at the roundabout, take the fourth exit onto Lower Morden Lane. The crematorium is located on the right.
