Manor Park, Newham
Manor Park Crematorium is located close to the beautiful green belt of Wanstead Flats and the beginning of Epping Forest, offering an oasis of greenery and wildlife. There is a crematorium chapel that can seat 54 persons and accommodate additional standing mourners. It was recently refurbished with new carpeting and lighting. Mourners may use the digital media system.
Floral tributes will be displayed for viewing in a dedicated section of the Susan Hibberd Flower Court for several days. The waiting room offers a selection of hot drinks.
Families may enter the details of their loved one’s life in a Book of Remembrance which is placed in the chapel foyer. After cremation, families may choose from a selection of memorials, including garden seats, wall plaques, or living memorials like rose bushes and shrubs.
Manor Park has a columbarium overlooking the rose garden where cremation urns can be placed. Alternatively, ashes may be scattered in the woodland glade. There is a flower shop in nearby Sebert Road, at the gate, where floral arrangements can be placed. Ample parking and public toilets area available as well.
