Ipswich Crematorium
Ipswich Crematorium, situated on Cemetery Lane in the heart of Ipswich, offers a tranquil setting with two Gardens of Rest and the Temple of Remembrance. The West Chapel, adorned with a traditional aesthetic, accommodates approximately 105 seated guests with disabled access and facilities. The chapel features a state-of-the-art Obitus music system, a traditional pipe organ, external audiovisual capabilities, and an induction hearing loop. A waiting room with toilet access and a dedicated chapel attendant ensure a supportive environment for funeral services.
The Temple of Remembrance, open every day, houses the Book of Remembrance and various memorials, providing a space for reflection. Floral tributes in the West Chapel remain on display for a week, and the Temple accepts cut flowers in provided vases. The Gardens of Rest, while closed for scatterings/interments, add to the serene atmosphere of Ipswich Crematorium, creating a peaceful place for remembrance and contemplation.

From Central Ipswich, you can reach the crematorium from Civic Drive/A1022, A1156, B1077 and Tuddenham Road. From Tuddenham Road, you’ll make a right onto Cemetery Lane and the crematorium.
