Three Counties Crematorium
The Three Counties Crematorium, located in Braintree, Essex, has been serving local communities since 2009. The crematorium sits on a historic site that was once a prisoner of war camp for Italian and German soldiers during World War II. The chapel at the crematorium is designed to accommodate larger numbers of people and provides facilities such as disabled access, toilets, and a hearing loop.
The crematorium and memorial office operate from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, while the gardens of remembrance are open year-round from 8 am to 5 pm. With 100 parking spaces, including 4 designated for disabled visitors, the Three Counties Crematorium offers modern and state-of-the-art facilities. The site was officially inaugurated on June 2, 2009, by the Right Reverend J Gladwin, Bishop of Chelmsford.
