Eastbourne Crematorium

Eastbourne Crematorium

Eastbourne Crematorium, established in 1960, has been providing support to grieving families in East Sussex. Situated on the grounds of Langley Cemetery, the crematorium offers two chapels to accommodate different-sized gatherings. The Main Chapel can accommodate approximately 80 mourners, while the Family Chapel provides a more intimate setting with seating for up to 25 guests. Each chapel allows for a service time of 30 minutes.

In addition to the chapels, Eastbourne Crematorium offers convenient facilities for visitors. The cemetery grounds include parking bays, with two designated spaces near the entrance for disabled individuals. Awning-covered entrances to each chapel provide shelter, and comfortable waiting rooms are available for families.

The extensive grounds of Eastbourne Crematorium feature a serene environment with beautiful trees, creating a peaceful atmosphere for remembrance. The gardens are open daily, offering a tranquil setting for memorial services or the scattering of ashes. Visitors are also welcome to access the Remembrance Room, where they can engage in quiet contemplation or view the Book of Remembrance, providing a space for reflection after the funeral.
