Weymouth Crematorium
Weymouth Crematorium, established in 1937, has served the Dorset community for generations. Located near the town centre, it shares a 6-acre site with Weymouth Cemetery. The spacious chapel can accommodate up to 100 seated guests, with additional standing space. It features an electric organ and a digital music system provided by Wesley Media, allowing for personalised music during the service. The crematorium offers webcasting services and the option to record the service onto a CD or DVD.
The grounds encompass 6 acres and include beautiful lawned Gardens of Remembrance. These areas provide a range of memorial options, such as memorial plaques placed beside roses, trees, and shrubs. Other choices include leased seats, stone plaques on memorial walls, tree plaques dedicated beneath mature or newly planted trees and entries in the Book of Remembrance. The book is housed in a dedicated room where floral tributes can also be placed.
Weymouth Crematorium is fully wheelchair accessible and offers on-site parking for 44 vehicles.
