Harbour View Crematorium
Before its transformation in 2005, Harbour View was a set of Victorian agricultural structures surrounded by picturesque fields, offering breathtaking views of Poole Harbour and the Purbeck hills. Purchased and reimagined, the site became a woodland burial ground, respecting the natural beauty and vibrant ecosystem while adding indigenous trees and shrubs.
The success of Harbour View led to the construction of Dorset's first crematorium in over three decades. Crafted by local artisans with natural materials like Purbeck stone and hardwoods, the Long Barrow, a state-of-the-art crematorium, houses a spacious ceremony hall with panoramic views.
Funeral services at Harbour View are thoughtfully spaced, allowing ample time for reflection. The Barn, renovated in 2014, offers a medium-sized ceremony hall and private chapels of rest, while the expansive Long Barrow accommodates large congregations or intimate gatherings. Harbour Lodge, a rustic log-cabin style venue, provides a smaller, intimate setting.

Directions
From Southampton, start by following Ring Road (A3024) towards Mountbatten Way (A33), and continue for about 4 minutes. Then, take the M27 and A31, heading towards Wimborne Road in Dorset for approximately 30 miles. Following that, take Wareham Road to Blandford Road North (A350). Make a left turn onto Blandford Road North (A350) and make a right turn onto Randalls Hill. The crematorium will be on your left.
From the direction of Bournemouth, begin by following Lansdowne Road (B3064), A347, and Wallisdown Road to Ringwood Road (A3049). Continue on A3049 and proceed to A350, then Blandford Road North, reaching Randalls Hill in approximately 10 minutes. Turn left onto Randalls Hill, and your destination will be on the left.
