The Vale of Glamorgan Memorial Park & Crematorium
The Vale of Glamorgan Memorial Park and Crematorium offers comprehensive services and facilities to meet the diverse needs of families during their difficult times. With one-hour service times, the chapel accommodates 100 seats and provides dedicated clergy facilities. The facility supports traditional and natural burials, a memorial garden for cremated remains, and home memorials suitable for home or garden placement. Adequate parking with safe access, disabled access, and a hearing loop are provided, along with personal image and committal lighting. Families have the choice of an advanced music system or a live organ, and web camera facilities offer live streaming for remote attendees. Plasma television screens are available for photo dedications and eulogies.
The crematorium has introduced the one-hour time slot to ensure privacy and a non-rushed atmosphere, allowing for a 40-minute service, a 10-minute acknowledgement period, and an additional 10 minutes to vacate the site. Attendees are encouraged to respect this arrangement by arriving ten minutes before their allotted time slot. The facility emphasises the importance of a complete celebration of a loved one's life. Additionally, services can be recorded on audio CD, DVD, Blu-ray, or USB memory stick, and webcasts are available for remote viewing. Cremated remains are accepted for unattended scattering at no charge, and additional services and memorials can be arranged.
Please remember: you need to book an appointment at the Vale of Glamorgan Crematorium in order to discuss your plans. We’d be happy to help you do this, so feel free to get in touch with one of our personal advisers.
