Exeter & Devon Crematorium

Exeter & Devon Crematorium

The Exeter and Devon Crematorium, serving the local community since 1963, is situated within the picturesque surroundings of the former Northbrook Park Estate, a Victorian estate in Exeter.

With a focus on inclusivity, the crematorium features two multi-faith chapels capable of accommodating large gatherings. The Wesley Music System offers a vast repertoire of songs to personalise each service according to individual preferences.

The Book of Remembrance at Exeter and Devon Crematorium is housed in a dedicated memorial chapel, which also provides space for memorial services. The facility ensures accessibility with disabled parking, toilets, and a hearing loop for the convenience of visitors.

The tranquil Garden of Remembrance encompasses a serene lake, a delightful rose garden, and a variety of majestic trees, including oaks, chestnuts, and cedars. Notably, remnants of a 19th-century Ha-Ha wall still grace the garden, adding historical charm. A flock of white fantail doves adds to the peaceful ambience. Additionally, the crematorium's grounds provide access to the banks of the River Exe.

To honour and remember loved ones, a range of memorials, such as benches and private gardens, can be installed within the serene gardens of the crematorium.

Please remember: you need to book an appointment at the Exter and Devon Crematorium in order to discuss your plans. We’d be happy to help you do this, so feel free to get in touch with one of our personal advisers.
