Efford Cemetery and Crematorium, situated on Efford Road in Plymouth PL3 6NG, provides a tranquil space for remembrance and serves the local Plymouth community. The cemetery grounds are open 365 days a year to the public, offering a place of solace and reflection. 

The non-denominational chapel at Efford Cemetery and Crematorium accommodates 70 people with additional standing room. It features a live organist, free music from a media system, and various services such as webcasting, visual tributes, and audio and video recordings (subject to fees). The chapel is equipped with amenities for accessibility, including a hearing loop, wheelchair access, and a disabled toilet. Braille and larger print service/hymn books are available upon request.

The memorial options at Efford Crematorium include a range of installations in the gardens of remembrance, such as plaques, granite tablets, and living memorials. Additionally, there is a columbarium and niche room within the crematorium, along with a book of remembrance. The office operates from 9 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Thursday, and 9 am to 4 pm on Fridays, remaining closed on weekends and public holidays. The gardens of remembrance are accessible every day throughout the year, from 9 am to 4:30 pm.

Directions

From Kingsbridge:

Begin by following the A379 for 20 minutes until you reach Ivybridge. Continue for an additional 2.8 miles. Proceed onto the Devon Expy/A38, and follow it for approximately 11 minutes until you arrive in Plymouth. Once in Plymouth, continue on Efford Road until you reach your destination, Efford Cemetery and Crematorium.

From Callington:

Start by heading southeast on New Road toward Biscombes Lane. Take Mannamead Road/B3250 in Plymouth from A388 and A38. Continue on Mannamead Road/B3250 until you reach your destination.
