Glyntaff Crematorium
Glyntaff Crematorium, operational since 1924 and the sole crematorium serving all of Wales for nearly thirty years, maintains two traditional chapels set amidst beautifully landscaped gardens, fostering an atmosphere of dignity and tranquillity.
Live streaming services are available at both locations, allowing remote attendance for up to 120 individuals. Cremations can be scheduled Monday to Friday every forty-five minutes between 9:00 a.m. and 3:45 p.m., accommodating both religious and non-religious preferences.
Following cremation, various respectful options are offered for the handling of remains. The crematorium and cemeteries in Rhondda Cynon Taf are accessible daily, with extended hours on weekends, providing a peaceful environment for remembrance.

Head southwest on Newport Road/A4161 toward Fitzalan Place/A4160. Continue to follow A4161 and turn right onto North Rd/A47. Then, take a slight left onto Merthyr Rd/A470. Continue to follow A470 for eight and a half miles before taking the exit toward Llantrisant/A473. Follow A4054 to Cemetery Rd and the crematorium.
From Swansea and the M4:
Take the M4 in Skewen from A483. Follow M4 to A470 in Cardiff. Take exit 32 from M4 and follow A470 to Cemetery Rd in Pontypridd for 9 minutes (6.3 miles).
