Haycombe Crematorium
Standing sentinel since 1961, Haycombe Crematorium offers quiet solace to Bath and North East Somerset. Both the multi-faith and Top Chapels provide dignified spaces for remembrance, welcoming 75 and 140 mourners respectively. Inclusivity is ever-present, with disabled access, hearing loops, wheelchairs, and even large-print hymnals available. Ceremonies flow seamlessly within the standard 30-minute window, with an optional extension in the Top Chapel for a further fee.
Beyond the chapels, the Garden of Remembrance offers a tranquil space for families to gather and reflect. Here, cherished memories find form in individual garden plots or the embrace of a towering tree. While scattering ashes is not permitted, a serene communal shrubbery provides a final resting place. Visiting hours mirror the dedication of the staff, with doors open from 9am to 4pm daily (except holidays). Haycombe Crematorium is a true pillar of comfort and respect in the midst of loss.

From Bath, follow the A367 to Lower Bristol Road/A36. Then, at the Churchill Bridge Roundabout, take the third exit onto Lower Bristol Road. Take Lansdown View and The Hollow to Whiteway Road for roughly a mile until you reach your destination on the right.
The crematorium is located about 30 minutes away from Bristol. If you’re travelling from that direction, take Victoria Street/B4053 to Temple Gate/A4/A4044 in Redcliffe for about half a mile before following the A4 to Pennyquick in Bath and North East Somerset for eight and a half miles. Continue on Pennyquick, then drive to Whiteway Road. Your destination will be on your right after about 3 miles.
