Yardley Crematorium
Yardley Crematorium, situated at Yardley Road, South Yardley, offers a peaceful and respectful setting for funeral services and memorials. The cemetery operates from 8:30am to 4pm from October to March and extends its hours until 7pm from April to September. The serene grounds are open to medical and guide dogs only.
The chapel, with a capacity for 166 seated mourners, hosts 45-minute services and offers an induction loop system, braille hymn books, and an available organist. The Wesley music system, along with CDs or tapes, facilitates personalised music choices.
The Gardens of Remembrance provide a serene space for scattering ashes, and a Memorial Rose Garden offers a dignified memorial option.
Wheelchair accessibility, hearing loops, and accessible toilets are available throughout the premises. Cemetery section maps are provided, and the Yardley cemetery can be accessed via the number 11 bus route.
There are a range of memorials on offer, including plaques, benches, vaults, and more.
