Robin Hood Crematorium
Established in 1958, Robin Hood Crematorium is nestled within 45 acres of serene landscape, encompassing Robin Hood cemetery, ancient woodland, and diverse memorial areas. The tranquil setting includes traditional and lawn graves, cremated remains sites and dedicated remembrance gardens for scattering ashes.
Renovated and expanded in 2017, the crematorium chapel accommodates up to 80 seated mourners or 120 standing and features an available organ as well as a contemporary Wesley Media system for personalised music choices.
Operating hours for the Robin Hood Crematorium office are from 9am daily, excluding Sundays and bank holidays when it opens at 10am. Closing times vary, ranging from 4:15 pm from November to January, 5pm in February, March, and October, and 6pm from April to September. On Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day, the crematorium operates from 10am to 2:30pm.

To follow this route, start by heading southeast on Manor Square. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Church Hill Road. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Prince's Way. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Streetsbrook Road/B4025. Slight right to stay on Streetsbrook Road/B4025. Turn left onto Trinity Way. Turn right onto Shirley Road. Turn right onto Pailton Road. Turn left onto Robin Hood Road. The destination will be on the left.
The second route takes 12 minutes and is 3.4 miles long. To follow this route, start by heading southeast on Manor Square. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Church Hill Road. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Prince's Way. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Blossomfield Road/B4102.
Turn right onto Danford Lane. At the roundabout, continue straight onto Prospect Lane. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Streetsbrook Road/B4025. Slight right to stay on Streetsbrook Road/B4025. Turn left onto Trinity Way. Turn right onto Shirley Road. Turn right onto Pailton Road. Turn left onto Robin Hood Road. The destination will be on the left.
By bus:
There are two bus routes that can take you from Solihull Central to Robin Hood Cemetery.
The first bus route is the 4A. To take this bus, start by heading to the Solihull Interchange. The 4A bus stop is located at the front of the bus station. The bus will take you to the Robin Hood Cemetery stop, which is located on Pailton Road. The journey time is approximately 25 minutes.
The second bus route is the 76. To take this bus, start by heading to the Solihull Interchange. The 76 bus stop is located at the back of the bus station. The bus will take you to the Robin Hood Cemetery stop, which is located on Trinity Way. The journey time is approximately 20 minutes.
