Gornal Wood Crematorium
Established in 1960 and under Dudley Council's care, Gornal Wood Cemetery and Crematorium embodies a modern aesthetic while fostering a warm and inviting ambiance within its beautifully landscaped surroundings.
Two remembrance services occur annually in the Crematorium Chapel – during Christmas and summer. All are welcome to attend, with notices posted in local press and on the website. These 45-minute services offer an opportunity to explore the buildings and engage with staff, gaining insights into cremation procedures and seeking answers to queries.
There is a Book of Remembrance Room, tranquil gardens and ample parking for visitors.

From Dudley:
Head southeast on The Broadway/A459. Drive for about 0.4 miles, approximately 2 minutes, until you reach The Parade and turn left. Follow Himley Rd/B4176. Drive for approximately 1.3 miles (about 3 minutes) until you reach Coopers Bank Rd in Gornal Wood. Continue on Coopers Bank Rd until you reach your destination.
From Wolverhampton:
Take the A4150 ramp to A4123/Dudley/Birmingham. Take the exit toward Wolverhampton/Dudley. Merge onto A459. Continue on A459 for approximately 1.5 miles.
At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Cinder Bank/A459. Turn left onto Deepdale Ln.
Take a slight left onto Milking Bank. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Himley Rd/B4176. Continue onto Coopers Bank Rd until you arrive at your destination.
