Mid Warwicks Crematorium
Established in 1971 within Oakley Wood, Oakley Wood Crematorium stands as a serene woodland haven, preserving a tranquil environment. This natural landscape is home to a variety of bird species and, with patience, offers glimpses of usually elusive creatures such as rabbits, squirrels, foxes, badgers, moles, and muntjac deer.
While public planting is limited, a dedicated Woodland Garden of Remembrance provides space for personal memorials. Warwick District Council's bulb fund accepts donations to enhance the landscape with snowdrops, bluebells, and other woodland flora.
Conveniently located south of Bishops Tachbrook, near the M40, the crematorium offers visitors the Chapel of Remembrance, accessible through car park number 1, open daily from 9 am to 5 pm.
