Canley Garden Crematorium
With its doors formally opening in February 1943, Canley Crematorium, despite World War II-related delays, has stood as a symbol of solace and remembrance for over 80 years.
The crematorium boasts two distinct chapels, Cannon Hill and Charter, each with its own private car park and driveway for exclusive access. These chapels can be reserved for funeral and memorial services lasting up to 45 minutes.
The Gardens of Remembrance encompass various serene areas, including the Traditional Rose Garden, Seasonal zones, The Pond, and The Woodlands, all designed to offer tranquillity and moments of reflection. Following the service, the option to scatter ashes throughout these gardens is available, facilitated by discussions with your funeral director.
Operating hours at Canley Crematorium differ by season. In the summer months (April to September), the crematorium is open from 8:30 am until 9 pm, while in winter (October to March), the hours are 8:30 am until 5 pm, providing an accessible and serene space throughout the year.

From the North
Head south from the M6/M69 interchange (M6 Jct 2) onto the A46 towards Warwick and Coventry S & E. Drive approximately 3.5 miles until you reach the Tollbar End roundabout (junction with A45). Follow signs for A45 Birmingham. After about 3 miles, cross the A429 (Kenilworth Road). Half a mile later, turn left onto Charter Avenue. At the roundabout, take a left onto Cannon Hill Road, and the entrance to Canley Crematorium will be on your right. For Canley Cemetery, continue along Charter Avenue, and the entrance will be on your left.
From the East
Travel west on the A45 from the M45 towards Coventry. After approximately 7 miles, you'll arrive at the Tollbar End roundabout (junction with A46). Follow signs for A45 Birmingham. Cross the A429 (Kenilworth Road) after about 3 miles. Half a mile past this junction, take a left onto Charter Avenue. At the roundabout, turn left onto Cannon Hill Road, and you'll find the entrance to Canley Crematorium on your right. For Canley Cemetery, continue on Charter Avenue, and the entrance will be on your left.
From the South
Take the A46 north from M40 Jct 15 towards Coventry. After approximately 8 miles, exit A46 at the signposted 'University of Warwick' junction and turn left. At the mini roundabout, take the second exit, then continue for another mile on Stoneleigh Road. Turn right onto A429 Kenilworth Road. After a mile, turn left onto Cannon Hill Road, and the entrance to Canley Crematorium and Cemetery will be on your left after 0.7 miles.
From the West
Drive east on the A45 from M42 Jct 6 towards Coventry. After around 9 miles, pass a large Sainsbury's store on your left. At the next roundabout, take the right-hand exit marked 'University and Canley'. Immediately turn left, and at the next roundabout, go straight ahead onto Cannon Hill Road. The entrance to Canley Crematorium will be on your right. For Canley Cemetery, turn right at the roundabout onto Charter Avenue, and the entrance will be on your left.
