South Oxfordshire Crematorium and Memorial Park
Nestled between East Hanney and the village of Frilford, The South Oxfordshire Memorial Park and Crematorium is thoughtfully situated off the A338. Crafted with local materials, this serene haven pays homage to the green meadows and scattered woodlands of the Vale of White Horse. Overlooked by the iconic white horse figure beneath Uffington Castle, this site radiates tranquillity.
Offering cremation, natural burial, and traditional burial, the memorial gardens and cemetery sections harmoniously blend with the landscape. The chapel, seating 96 individuals, can accommodate up to 150 including the foyer space. A maximum of 200 people can be accommodated by extending the service outdoors. Equipped with a hearing loop, Obitus media system, organ, and plasma televisions, the chapel ensures a meaningful farewell. Subtle colours evoke a sense of serenity.
Service intervals of 1 hour can be extended upon request, accommodating various needs, including weekends and outside normal hours.

Directions from Wantage and Grove:
Head north on the A338 toward East Hanney. After passing East Hanney, you'll find the crematorium on your right, about 1.5 miles ahead.
Directions from Didcot and Wallingford:
Take the A4130 towards Wantage and cross the roundabout leading to the A34. Proceed for 500 yards, then turn right towards Steventon and Drayton. In Steventon, turn left at the green towards East Hanney. From East Hanney, turn right onto the A338 towards Frilford. The crematorium will be on your right after approximately 1.5 miles.
Directions from Abingdon:
Travel on the A415 to Marcham, and continue towards Frilford. At the Frilford traffic lights, make a left onto the A338. The crematorium will be on your left after around 1.25 miles.
Directions from Oxford:
Take the A34 to the Marcham interchange (exit for Abingdon). At the roundabout, take the A415 towards Marcham, then Frilford. At the Frilford traffic lights, turn left onto the A338. The crematorium is located on your left after about 1.25 miles.
Directions from Witney:
Drive south on the A415 via Standlake. Pass the A420 roundabout and continue towards Frilford. At the Frilford traffic lights, turn right onto the A338 towards Wantage. The crematorium will be on your left after approximately 1.25 miles.
Directions from Carterton:
Take Station Road to Bampton, then follow the B4449 to Standlake. From Standlake, turn right onto the A415 and proceed past Kingston Bagpuize to Frilford. At the Frilford traffic lights, make a right onto the A338. The crematorium will be on your left after around 1.25 miles.
Directions from Faringdon:
Travel on the A420 towards Oxford. At Kingston Bagpuize, make a right onto the A415 and continue to Frilford. At the traffic lights in Frilford, turn right onto the A338. The crematorium is located on your left after approximately 1.25 miles.
