Kingsdown Crematorium

Kingsdown Crematorium

Set in 30 acres of mature, open space, Kingsdown Cemetery and Crematorium offers solace and reflection during difficult times. The history-rich grounds, once home to a grand 10-bedroom manor house, still echo with remnants of the past, including original garden walls. The crematorium opened in April 1966, ushering in a compassionate era of over 89,000 cremations.

The 120-seater interdenominational chapel offers wheelchair accessibility, accommodating seating arrangements, and state-of-the-art facilities. The waiting room with refreshments, air conditioning, and ample parking add to the overall convenience for attendees.

There are numerous memorial choices available, including floral tributes, the Book of Remembrance, bench plaques, vase block tablets, and living memorials.

Please remember: you need to book an appointment at the Kingsdown Crematorium in order to discuss your plans. We’d be happy to help you do this, so feel free to get in touch with one of our personal advisers.
