Slough Crematorium

Slough Crematorium

Opened in 1932, Slough Cemetery offers families diverse resting places, featuring graves for cremated remains and full lawn graves. The adjacent Slough Crematorium, established in 1963, is integrated into the cemetery grounds.

The burial service operates seven days a week, ensuring flexibility for families. The multi-denominational chapel allows for various forms of religious or civil services during cremations. Families can arrange officiants through funeral directors, humanists, or family members.

The crematorium chapel, accommodating up to 150 individuals, offers Obitus music, webcasting, and visual tribute services. Facilities include outside speakers for larger gatherings, disabled parking, wheelchair access, and a hearing-aid loop system. The waiting room, equipped with washrooms and a disabled toilet, enhances the overall experience.

The conservatory, leading to the Remembrance Room, accepts floral tributes or cut flowers in provided vases. Funeral corteges alone are permitted under the Chapel arch and canopy by the Book of Remembrance. The site ensures accessibility with a large car park, disabled bays, and hard-surfaced paths. Open 365 days a year, the grounds have varied hours, adapting to British Summer Time changes.

Please remember: you need to book an appointment at the Slough Crematorium in order to discuss your plans. We’d be happy to help you do this, so feel free to get in touch with one of our personal advisers.
