Garden of England Crematorium

"Had my mum's funeral here in December 2019. My mum had actually suggested this crematorium as she had been to services there, one when it was newly built, and she thought it had attractive grounds and was pleasant. The Crematorium itself was clean, warm enough (the weather outside was cold and windy) and well presented. The service itself flowed well - music on cue and the slide show worked well without any technical hitches. Outside was tidy, despite the weather. The staff before and after have been extremely helpful and kind. It's a difficult enough thing to go through, but they have made sure it has been as hassle free as possible."
"I wish to have my funeral here. A tree planted in my memory too. A lovely place. Neighbours Pat, Tony, Arthur are here. So too my good "swimming" pal, Charlie, who lived just around the corner in Cedar Grove."
"Staff are rude and un-helpful, if you enquire about an existing memorial that you have paid for, the staff will not help, just constantly insist that you have to re-pay. We have paid for a 20 year memorial, that has only lasted a few years, faded and lettering has disappeared we are being told that we will have to pay to have it re-made or re-glazed. Why sell a product for 20 years, that does not last 20 years? Customer service very poor, when contact head office, they do not want to know. This company only want your money."
"Both my parents are there..its a lovely place quiet and well kept"
"This is a beautiful place to have a cremation service. The staff are so helpful and sincere. We wanted a special piece of music (The Royal Naval Hymn), which we downloaded on to a CD and then asked the staff to check out that it worked okay on their equipment. It has now been left in their music library for others to use."
